The water line connection ...
Turn
off the Water. You will most likely have to turn the
water off throughout the whole house. You might want
to do this project during the day when no one else is
home or needs to shower.
Detach the water valve coming out of the wall behind
the toilet. Install a "T" adapter valve (using
the plumbers tape) and tighten it. The "T"
valve allows you to connect a water line to the bidet
and a water line to the toilet.
Connect the water lines going to your toilet and the
Mini-Bidet.
Re-tighten the "T" adapter and any other
bolts on the bidet as loosening may occur during water
supply attachment. Make sure you use the plumbers tape
that came with the unit. The plumbers tape is wound
around the "male" end of the hoses and helps
to avoid leaking around the threads.
Turn the water back on and check for leaks. You are
now ready to use your Bidet.
Note this is the hot/cold bidet. Notice
the 2nd Valve on the side? You can hookup a hot/cold
bidet and only run the cold water until you are ready
to tackle the hot water line.
Also note this is where both valves
let water enter into the bidet. This is also how the
hot & cold water are mixed together. |
